Agagu's Corpse Crash-lands as Plane Crashes In Lagos

At least nine people (and still counting) have been killed after a small passenger plane with 27 people on board crashed shortly after take-off in  Lagos. Reports have it that the plane was carrying the body of former governor of Ondo state, Olusegun Agagu to his funeral.

Unconfirmed reports also have it that the wife and son of the deceased also died in the crash.

The plane came down near an airport fuel depot and burst into flames.

The said plane took off at roughly 9.30am local time from the domestic terminal at Murtala Mohammed International Airport and was headed for Akure in the southwest of the country.
