Man Rapes Girlfriend, Posts Nudes Online

Babajide Bashorun, a 22 year old man has been arrested by the Lagos State Police Command, for allegedly kidnapping a female undergraduate of the University of Lagos, Akoka, and raping her. The police said Bashorun, a dog breeder, did not only rape his victim, he also took snapshot of her nudity, which he allegedly posted on the Internet. A family source said, "Few days later, the pictures were all over the Internet. The picture had the name and surname of the girl, her university, age, department and course of study. People were stopping her on the campus to tell her they had seen her nude pictures on the Internet. "
however, Bashorun is not the only guilty one. Two undergraduates of Unilag, identified as Mayowa and Ademuyiwa, both 400 level Architecture students, were accused by the police of complicity in the crime. Detectives from Adeniji Adele Police Station are working on the theory that the pictures were leaked to the Internet through the duo of Mayowa and Ademuyiwa. Bashorun had said he only sent the snapshots of the girl to Mayowa, who in turn sent them to Ademuyiwa. The dog breeder, who denied beating his victim, had this excuse.
"She is my girlfriend. I wanted to buy ipad for her. I was able to raise about N70,000. She came to my house to collect the money on that day. "We had argument and I used floor mop to hit her on her back. I now took her pictures. I sent the pictures to my friend, but I didn't tell him to post the pictures on internet." The young fella has since been charged to court while police said the other suspects are still on the lam.

SUGAR KILLS! Read the sorry details of the evils sugar does to the body.

I entered with a wisp of memories coming back to me with a rush. She looked at me blank in the eye. A blank face with an apathetic look, with no fire I once knew. No tale of love that was always new. I waited... Then she turned away. My heart sank. Again, she looked back at me, struggling to pin my face to a name. She tried, I know she really tried...then her face lit up. Then she said it. "Nje Ibramo omo iya Kafaya ko niyi". She said my name. I smiled. Happiness shone through my heart, radiating over my face. She smiled back. Then she was dead again. She is aged. You see, I told myself. Such things are synonymous to old folks. Age amounted to the falling skin, struggling to hang on to her bones like a pendulum on the edge of demise. She looked so sickly with her sunken features. But age wasn't the cause of her sombre dead look. She is also diabetic. That can be treated but already, It had cost her a limb. She couldn't move around, she was dependant
like a child. She was in pain! We shared more words and then again, silence. These were awkward moments I couldn't stand because I couldn't ease her pain. I aptly made my move for escape (sorry I am using this word). You see, she was a happy go lucky chatterbox. Her laughter was a torrent of beautiful throaty chords flowing from a depth. A hearty depth. She was a lively fellow who I remember to be upright, affluent and fashionable. Her predicament had eaten her qualities away. She was bedridden in form and status. Her stumped limb laid lifeless on the sparse bed. I don't want to indulge you into the sad details. You see, her predicament taught me lessons on value. Her story made me realise how rich I was. I may not be rich in gold coins or lofty castles but I realised what wealth have in my health. "Health is wealth", so the saying goes. The rates of diabetes have exploded in the past three decades with an estimated 350 million people in the world now
suffering from the disease, according to new research. Almost every region of the planet has seen a rise in diabetes prevalence or has failed to reduce levels of the disease, a major international study has revealed. The condition, which is the result of poorly controlled sugar levels in the blood can lead to serious compliations such as damage to the kidneys, blindness, nerve damage, heart disease and limb loss. So, are you watching that sugar intake?

NEVER GIVE UP! Former marine turned amputee becomes fitness & underwear model

Do not ever give up! That's the story of 25 year old, former US marine and Afghan war veteran Alex Minsky as his tragedy had metamorphosed into triumph. He lost his right leg in an explosion in 2009 after driving over an improvised explosive device in Afghanistan when he was just 21.

After losing his leg, he fell into depression and heavy drinking but with the help of his family, he found himself again and made some changes in his life. He also started working out regularly at a gym and that was where he was discovered by model scouts. Alex is now a sort after fitness and underwear model. "I just want people from nearby and far away to be inspired to try harder and never give up on themselves" Alex said in a recent interview. "I didn't set out to be an underwear model. I was just taking care of myself and working out. It just so happens that I look good in underwear. "
So you see, it is not over until it is over!

IT'S GOODBYE

It's goodbye.
We can no longer try.
All you do now is but cry.
But cries and time by,
I hope you understand why.

Why I left without a glance,
I know I didn't give us a chance.
We could have made it through, perchance.
I knew I staked you with a lance,
Wen I stopped the music to the dance.

Had you walked through the door to my mind,
and listened to my tuts,
What you would find,
Would make you nuts.
You forgave my faults without long thoughts.
I know...

But there is more!
I got lost in the floody flow.
I wanted adventure.
You were content with the homey glow.
I wanted more to live and love for.
I wanted more!

I wanted the sunset at dusk,
Forever young,
Serenading my dreams like strong musk.
Was I wrong?
This is me coming out from my hiding husk!

It's goodbye.
We can no longer try.
All you do now is but cry.
But cries and time by,
I hope you understand why.

MAAMI

i worship your hair.
yes, i do!
i worship the silken feel of its strands lighting your shadowy face.
yes, i love the snow in it.
snow, time have painted with its lustrous brush.

your eyes mesmerize me.
truly so!
the depth of your looks,
the laughter that winks in them,
hoards secrets and mystery behind hollowed chambers.
i like your eyes,
not wet with tears nor fears,
but with crease lines afore your cascading cheeks.

i adore your teeth,
housed behind falling walls.
fragile as a child's,
ity's chronicles stand scarce,
like an unproductive diseased cob.
...but with tales of wisdom.
these teeth that taught me my first lessons,
And soothed my childish angst.

your waist enthralls me.
beseechingly so!
sitting low under your cornered curve,
they hold memoirs of love and care,
non of its like to be measured.

i love your breasts!
tasty soft breasts,
enough to wheto desires.
its sagging poise,
speaks of the pride of giving to succulent lips,
that drew life and satisfaction from its fountain.

Adebimpe

Like sand on gaping fingers,
You fell through with your yawning laughter,
Eroded my walled walls and pried open a new chapter.
I pushed back,
But who can stop the rainbow from forming the arc?

Like sunset,
You threw light on my frowning face,
Gave my frigid heart a jumping race.
You caught me in your naughty net.

That first time,
My heart listened to your happy-go-lucky healing rhyme,
With the changing beat,
you gave my cheeks a warm heat.

There, I invited you in,
And I got a funny grin.
Though I wanted to look mean,
You did me in.
This cold quiet night in the month of May,
As I listen to the roof and it's pattering band,
I know I got lucky,
To get someone so funky.
Thus, Come what may,
Like the sea, rich in its salty sand,
You will always be my naughty Adebimpe.

Dedicated to Adebimpe Fashoro. A friend like a sister. you deserve more.
