The 60 girls were preselected from 5 states around the country based on their character, poise, personality, and composure by the Miss Nigeria judges.
22 year old Miss Akudo showed outstanding brain with brawn to surpass others to clinch the prestigious coveted crown in addtion to the pre-selected criteria.
Like a cat with nine lives, the 2013 queen made it to the Final Top 10 round where she and others were tested on the ingenuity of their mental faculties.
She, thereafter, scaled the hurdle and made it to the Final Top 5 round. From there, she sashayed to breast the ribbon.
However, Miss Sadiq and Miss Celestine hooked for themselves the 2nd and 3rd runner-up spots respectively.
Other awards of the night were the Miss Congeniality award taken by Miss Akudo, Miss Ideal award won by Miss Tarila while the Top Model of the year award was won by Miss Dokubo Atari.
Meanwhile, Co-Anchors, Eku Edewor and top Nigerian comedian, AY made sure the night was lively as they "managed" to artfully glide the pageant to a colourful and eventful end.
Another high point of the night was the mesmerising performance of the hit track "Limpopo" by the singer, Kcee which he performed with so much showmanship.
Miss Akudo was crowned by the 1957 debut pageant winner, Mrs. Grace Oyelude. Another personality that graced the event was First Lady of Ekiti State, Mrs. Erelu Bisi Fayemi.
The 2013 pageant queen automatically holds rights to a brand new Toyota Corolla car, 1 year free accomodation, 3 million Naira and a trip to California.
