As an individual, bright colours are not so much a strong option for me. After a survey amongst diverse men of fashionable age, i found out that practically, Men do not really dig bright clothings. Why? Because they believe only women do such stuff.
However, brights are not for women alone. Men are free to dorn them too!
Though most men's wardrobes are usually a chunk of masculine colours such as navys, greys, whites and beiges, you can decide to add some spice to the mix. All you need is to experiment away.
Bold colours are in and a man who knows how to wear colours well can really turn some heads. Although colour coordination can be a tricky thing for men, a few splashes here and there will him make stand stylishly apart from the crowd. But, the secret is not to overdo, else who will surely look like a circus thing.
Choose complementary colours
Choose colours that complement your skin tone. If you are a Wande Coal, saturated colours will suit you just fine. Men with fairer skin should go for light to medium hues. It works ANYTIME.
Accessorise with colour
If you are afraid of colour, start by introducing it through accessories. Inject some colour into neutral outfits and make them pop by adding a bright spring scarf, tie or belt.
Keep to similar colours
There's no need to be afraid of wearing two coloured pieces together. Just make sure they are in the same colour palette and complete each other. For example, wear a tie in a solid colour that picks up or matches one colour in a printed shirt. You sure will rock it!
Keep bold colours to one piece
Wearing green pants, bright red sunglasses, and a hot pink shirt might seem like a good idea (it's not), but will probably blind those that you walk past. Instead, if you opt for just one of those pieces and layer some more conservative colours around it, your look will be a lot more tasteful and appropriate.

Wearing a colourful ankara styled jacket on a black shirt is sure to make a statement anywhere. It is a sure getter to winning you that contemporary sleek look you seek. Just experiment away!
