JIGAWA DEPUTY SPEAKER DIES IN TRAGIC ROAD CRASH

Jigawa state was yesterday covered by a dark cloud following the death
of two prominent politicians, Deputy speaker, State House of Assembly,
Honourable Inuwa Sule Udi and former Commissioner of Information,
Alhaji Salisu Ibtahim Dandoka.
The deceased politicians died on Thursday night Thursday August 15th
along with driver, Mala Mas'ud Ringim in an accident along Kano-
Ringim road while returning to the late dep. Speaker's Kano home
during the heavy down pour.
He died at the age of 52 and he is survived by two wives and many
children. While the former Commissioner in the State Ministry of
Education and Information during Ex-Governor Saminu Turaki's regime,
Alhaji Salisu Ibrahim Dandoka died after a brief illness at the Malam
Aminu Kano Teaching Hospital. The deceased Deputy Speaker, Inuwa Sule
and Alhaji Salisu Dandoka will be buried in their home towns Ringim
and Kazaure according to Islamic rites.
